A wreath for Shedd Aquarium's Wreath Cycled project

The Shedd Aquarium is making a holiday wreath of 100% recycled materials that celebrates the new year. Classroom wreaths will be hung around the Caribbean Reef exhibit and other areas throughout the holiday season.

Math/Art Integrated Mural Project

Here are some photos of a Math/Art integrated mural project I do with 7th-8th grade. Students receive a 2x2 inch piece of an artwork that they have to scale up to 12x12 inches. It is not until the individual pieces are finished, that the mural is assembled, and the whole artwork is revealed. The famous artworks express the 6 emotions, in keeping with Eberhart's ongoing social emotional learning focus.
